Im curious: Cant we say social norms/mores are...Hi! Im curious: Cant we say social norms/mores are forms of "micro-domination"? And since Im not a philosopher but like to play one in my own mind :) this whole concept I would have thought has already been well-worked-out? I know my 14yr old son would totally think he is "micro-dominated" every day by society (of course mostly thru his parents) telling him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, deodorant, etc!<br /><br />(Aside: Assuming "micro-dominance" has anything useful to say, I wonder what Pettit would think?
